Kim Brown, MA, APR

Kim has spent the past 15 years working in media and communications. She has served as a broadcast news producer at CBS stations in Amarillo, Albuquerque and the competitive Dallas/Fort Worth media market, which is the fifth largest in the U.S. She credits her background in news to her successful media relations career, which has landed feature stories with top-tier outlets such as USA Today, CBS News, Good Morning America, CNN, The New York Times, O, The Oprah Magazine and Texas Monthly. She has also helped lead crisis communications efforts for high-profile situations that made headlines around the globe.  

Kim loves helping others tell their stories and found her passion as a public relations professional in 2015. She received her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2019 and graduated with a master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University in 2022. Kim also holds a certification crisis communication from the Public Relations Society of America.

Whether it’s promoting an event, telling your organization’s story or handling a crisis, Kim has the experience and expertise to walk alongside your team as a trusted advisor. In addition to her work, Kim serves on the boards of the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of Public Relations Society of America and The WARM Place, which provides free grief counseling to children and families.

Kim is a native New Mexican who counts the days until green chile season. She lives in Fort Worth with her husband, Alan, two dogs – Pancho and Bandit, and cat – Frankie.

Abigail Hoover, MS

Co-Founder

Abigail has nearly a decade of experience in public relations, communications and broadcast journalism. Some of the most rewarding parts of her career have come from building trust and making connections with others through diverse media and communications strategies. From overseeing brand social media channels to managing internal communications for organizations with 8,000+ employees, her versatile skills and insight transform messaging to tailored audiences across platforms. 

Abigail has a BA in Communications from the University of Central Arkansas, where she was a player for the D1 women’s soccer team. She went on to graduate with her master’s from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. 

Outside of her day-to-day work, she is actively involved in the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Abigail served as the 2020-2021 Worthy Awards Chair, planning and leading the chapter’s annual awards ceremony. She is also an active youth soccer coach for local summer camps and a competitive, affordable academy team.

Abigail lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and fellow Chicagoan, Robbie, and their two rescue dogs - Birdie and Bogey.
